Penis straightening device

A penis straightening device is a medical device used to treat erectile dysfunction. The most common form of the device, known as vacuum erection devices (VEDs), are penile constriction rings that apply negative pressure on the corpora cavernosa in order to cause an erection. Other forms include inflatable and semi-inflatable cylinders, which use air or fluid pressure to create the same effect. Some VEDs also incorporate medication into the treatment process.

Penile Curvature (Peyronie's Disease)

Peyronie’s Disease, or penile curvature, is a condition in which the penis becomes curved. It can happen to anyone at any age and may be caused by many things including: genetics, injury, disease, psychological factors, hormonal changes, and even aging. The exact cause of Peyronie's Disease isn't known but it does appear that it has something to do with scar tissue formation. Scar tissue tends to contract and pull on the penis causing it to become bent.

What is Peyronie's disease?

Peyronie's disease (PD) is a chronic, progressive disorder characterized by the formation of fibrous plaques in the tunica albuginea of the penis. It is most commonly associated with an inflammatory plaque forming within the tunica albugenia of the penis. This plaque then causes the penis to become permanently deformed.
